David Norman has been Easy Tiger’s Head Doughpuncher since helping to found the Bakery and Beer Garden in 2012. He got his start back in college, after returning from studying German Literature in Munich for his Junior Year and missing the great bread he had grown used to eating. After finishing his studies at the University of Florida, he turned his baking hobby into a job, and now for over thirty flour-dusted years a rewarding career that has brought him from the West Coast (Grand Central Bakery, Seattle) to the East Coast (Bouley Bakery, NYC) before landing in Austin. His book, Bread on the Table, was release in 2019 by 10 Speed Press.
