Mason Hereford is the chef and owner of Turkey and the Wolf, a counter service restaurant in New Orleans that tricked Bon Appetit magazine into naming it The Best New Restaurant in America, and Molly's Rise and Shine, a breakfast joint down the street that is better albeit less overrated. He's had a couple James Beard noms and recently Food & Wine named Turkey & the Wolf as one of the Most Important Restaurants of the Decade. His restaurants and the wonderful humans that pour their souls into them share a primary focus: have a really good time. Mason was born and raised in Virginia, lives in New Orleans, and will never leave.
